The Mental Health Academy is a signature TeenMentalHealth.Org event furthering education in mental health using evidence-based research and programs.

This year, The Academy will take place on July 20 and 21, 2017.

Where does The Academy take place?
The Academy will take place at the Bella Rose Arts Centre, located in Halifax West High School. The venue address is: 283 Thomas Raddall Dr, Halifax, NS.

If travelling from out of town, where is the most convenient place to stay?

How much does it cost to register for The Academy?
$150.00 (plus online registration fees).

Are meals included at this conference?
Yes. Lunch and nutrition breaks are included in your registration fee. When registering for The Academy, please notify organizers of any dietary restrictions.

When can registrants select their breakout sessions?
The schedule is currently being developed. Expect it to be comprised of plenary and breakout sessions. Once it is complete, registrants will receive an email prompting advanced registration for breakout sessions. These will be offered on a first come, first serve basis and attendance will be capped. 

What is the conference's cancellation policy?
The registration deadline is July 12, 2017. Full refunds can be made until June 20, 2017. Any cancellations after June 20, 2017 will receive a partial refund of 50%. There will be no refunds after July 14, 2017. Should attendees wish to cancel, they can request through Eventbrite and refund amounts (based on the aforementioned dates) will be returned on the card/account in which the initial payment was made.
